Repeat Prescriptions
Please allow 2 FULL WORKING DAYS for the processing of your repeat prescription.
These may be ordered
On-line – please ask at reception for details (you will be required to provide proof of identification, passport, driving licence)
Drop in/post your prescription request form
Leave a message on the repeat prescription answerphone
You may collect your prescription between
- 8:30am – 6:00pm Monday – Friday
If you have a query and need to speak to someone regarding your medication please ring reception after 12 noon to speak to a dispenser
NHS charges
These charges apply in England only. In Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales prescriptions are free of charge.
- Prescription (per item): £9.65
- 12-month prepayment certificate (PPC): £111.60
- 3-month PPC: £31.25
- 12-month PPC for hormone replacement therapy (HRT) only: £19.30
If you will have to pay for four or more prescription items in three months, or more than 14 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a PPC.
