NHS England Patient Survey
NHS England have asked Primary care networks to provide routine appointments Monday to Friday from 6:30pm until 8:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am-5:00pm. GP practices are not being asked to provide more appointments, but to have enhanced access to routine appointments at more convenient times, especially for those who cannot attend appointments during the normal core hours of 8:00am – 6:30pm Monday to Friday. In order for us to deliver the right services to our patients, we would value your opinion by asking you to complete a survey. We have asked for Healthwatch Cumbria's help to do this. The feedback that you give will help us to develop a service that best meets the needs of our communities. To complete the survey please click on this link or scan the QR code. The survey is open from Monday 20th June until Friday 1st July 2022. Survey link: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/GP-EnhancedAccessFeedback
STAFF NEWS
We are delighted to announce that we will be welcoming Dr Emily Chapman to the practice, who will be joining the team at the end of July. I'm sure you will help us make her feel very welcome to the surgery. Alison Wilson from the wellbeing service will also be working along side us. She will be available to support patients over 18 with a long term health condition who may benefit from a coaching approach to improve their psychological wellbeing and manage their health conditions.
