Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic, until further notice we are changing the way in which we handle requests for appointments with the DOCTOR. If you feel you need to see or speak to a doctor then please ring our reception where staff will ask you for a brief outline of your problem so that we can prioritise our workload. A telephone consultation may be all that is required but if we do need to see you face-to-face you will be given an appointment time, usually on the same day. There will be no pre-bookable appointments available. Please note that appointments with the nurses and health care assistant are going ahead as normal
If you have a fever above 37.8 degrees C, a new and persistent cough, loss of taste/smell please self-isolate for 7 days. If you live with others in a household then ALL household members MUST stay at home for 14 days. Information about this is available on the NHS and Public Heath websites. If you get worse or your symptoms do not improve please go onto the NHS 111 website. If you do not have internet access please phone NHS 111. There is no need to phone the surgery and please do not enter the surgery building. Please make sure you have access to a thermometer. If you require advice for any other reason you will be phoned back by a doctor, usually within 4 hours.
